Are you following the official Barbie Facebook page? If not, you may not be aware that there will be a Facebook “Watch Party” this weekend, for the new Barbie film, Barbie: Princess Adventure. The film is a modern retelling of the classic Mark Twain novel, “The Prince and the Pauper,” and is the 37th Barbie film so far.
The page explains:
“Tomorrow, sing your heart out to favourites from Barbie: Princess Adventure! Join Barbie and friends for a royal Facebook Watch Party Sing-Along from 12pm PT / 3pm ET.”
It is a bit unclear whether the Facebook Watch will be showing just the songs, or the whole film. If you are in the US, Barbie: Princess Adventure released on Netflix on September 1st, but it hasn’t been released internationally (yet!) It would be great if it is showing the whole film, so it gives more people a chance to watch.
The party starts:
- 12pm Friday, Pacific Time (US, Mexico, Canada)
- 3pm Friday, Eastern Time (US)
- 8pm Friday, British Summer Time (UK)
- 9pm Friday, Central European Summer Time (Europe)
- 5am Saturday, Australian Eastern Standard Time (Australia)
- 7am Saturday, New Zealand Standard Time (NZ)
Personally, I have set my alarm for 4am to watch the video! I’m really hoping they will play the full film.
